HOLY COW!!! this brush is freakin' A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! let me say it again...amaaaaaaazing! so you all know the stippling brush or 187 gives the "airbrush look" for your foundation right? well baby i found  the real airbrush look! the 187 got nothing on this baby! i have the stippling brush from coastal scents and i've been using it since i started making videos, yes it gives me an even application of foundation, and yes one pump of foundation is enough, but let me tell you, i still get streaks with the stippling brush, specially in the crevices of my face, like around the nose area, between the brows, and my eye area. since the stippling brush is too fluffy to maneuver around those areas, it leaves nasty looking streaks.. it made me think that maybe my skin is too dry but no ladies! meet the brush 109! this baby gets in every single corner and buffs the hell outta your foundation... i seriously kept looking at my face in the mirror that friday night i went on a dinner with friends.. it looked sooo flawless! anyway, this is becoming too long of a post.. so i shall make a video on the foundation application with the 109 brush :)

Irgendwie haben es mir diese Schuhe angetan. Vorgestern stachen sie mir bei Deichmann direkt ins Auge. Anprobiert hatte ich sie nicht, da sie in meiner Größe bereits vergriffen waren. Vom Modell her erinnern sie mich ein wenig an die Schnürschuhe, die es bei H&M gab. Der Preis für die Deichmänner ist mit 24,90 € auch noch recht erschwinglich. Was haltet ihr von den Schuhen?

Talib Kweli & Madlib - Liberation

Lançado em 2007, "Liberation" marca uma das mais interessantes parcerias do hip-hop em tempos recentes, e agradou em cheio aos fãs de ambos. A produção suja, densa e cheia de samples de soul, funk e podreiras em geral se encaixou perfeitamente ao estilo lírico e vocal de Kweli, fazendo com que muitos fãs se perguntassem porque a tal parceria demorou tanto. Para decepção geral, TK anunciou, ao lançamento de "Liberation" (que foi disponibilizado de grátis na web), que "Eardrum", álbum que seria lancado em algumas semanas, nada teria a ver, em termos de produção, com o petardo em questão. De qualquer forma, o EP é um dos materiais mais clássicos já disponibilizados pelo MC em 10 anos de carreira. Não deixe de perder!

Es ist total ätzend eine ganze Woche nicht arbeiten zu müssen. Ich habe sooo viel Zeit & weiß absolut nichts damit anzufangen. Natürlich habe ich schon ein paar produktive Sachen gemacht, wie Zimmer aufgeräumt, Fotos für den fachspezifischen Eignungstest geknipst etc., aber wenn alle anderen arbeiten, in der Uni oder der Schule sind, ist mir schlichtweg öde. Die neue Neon ist schon so gut wie durch & auch sonst ist der größte Lesevorrat bereits gelesen. & wenn ich jetzt nach Münster fahren würde, wäre das auch nur deprimierend. Kein Geld. Uoh...Geistesblitz! Ich werde jetzt Schokomuffins backen. Backen macht Spaß, man hat was zu tun & essen ist bei Langeweile eh "gut". Hoffentlich haben wir auch alle Zutaten im Haus. Aber müsste eigentlich. Schließlich kauft meiner Mutter immer so viel, dass unsere Familie selbst bei Ausbruch eines Krieges oder ähnlichem noch sehr lange von den Vorräten leben könnte.

Btw. bei H&M ist ordentlich Sale. Vorbeischauen lohnt. Da könnte auch ich glatt wieder schwach werden. Aber erstens ist meine Bestellung schon die dritte (!) Woche in Arbeit & zweitens habe ich den Kaffee bezüglich des Onlineshops erstmal auf.

Talib Kweli - Ear Drum

"Eardrum" (Blacksmith, 2007) é o mais recente LP de Talib Kweli, e também seu primeiro lançado pelo próprio selo, Blacksmith. Assim como seus antecessores, o álbum peca pela inconsistência; faixas espetaculares, como Hot Thing, se apresentam lado a lado com petardos pífios, como Say Something, e o resultado é bastante irregular. Nem o All Star Team de produtores, que reúne Madlib, Hi-Tek, Kanye West, Pete Rock e Just Blaze consegue transformar "Eardrum" num clássico. Kweli, como outros grandes liricistas do gênero (Pharoahe Monch, para citar apenas um) parece sofrer do mal dos grandes MCs que nunca encontraram a tal "fórmula perfeita" ao conceberem seus discos. O grande destaque do play são, portanto, as idéias de Kweli. Letras sempre inteligentes, por vezes acompanhadas de beats espetaculares. Outras, nem tanto.

Topshop Must Haves.

Irgendwie verlockt mich Topshop zum Basics kaufen. & das, obwohl man weiße Shirts im Boyfriend-Stil auch bei H&M & Konsorten bekommen könnte. Aber die Topshop Basics ziehen mich durch irgendetwas magisch an. Die beiden weißen Shirts würde ich mir nächsten Monat bestellen, wenn es noch Geld von Oma gibt. & der Blazer ist einfach die Perfektion eines Blazers. Nur gibt es ihn nicht mehr in meiner Größe. Aber nach etwas vergleichbarem werde ich dann bei meiner dezemberlichen Secondhandshop-Tour Ausschau halten.

& jetzt werde ich meinen Tag mit Zimmer ausmisten & dem ersten Versuch, ein tolles Bild für meinen fachspezifischen Eignungstest zu schießen, verbringen.

Walking in a Winterwonderland.

Der erste richtige Schnee des Jahres & ich freue mich wie ein kleines Kind darüber! Schnee verleiht eine so angenehme Ruhe. Er hüllt die ganze Welt wie in Puder ein. Heute früh zog ich flux meine Snowboardsachen an & ging in unseren Garten, der aussah, als hätte sich Frau Holle so richtig ausgetobt. Die obigen Bilder entstanden dabei. Jetzt habe ich so richtig Lust auf snowboardfahren eh! Nur leider wird das wohl noch eine ganze Weile dauern. Geplant ist der Urlaub mit Herzensbub & seinen Eltern erst für die Osterferien 2009. Ob dann noch genügend Schnee liegt? Ich hoffe es wirklich sehr. Seit einiger Zeit habe ich nun mein eigenes Board & vernünftige Kleidung (nur die Schuhe fehlen noch) & ich konnte noch nichts von alledem einweihen. Ansonsten müsste erstmal die Skihalle in Bottrop herhalten.

Ebenfalls heute früh habe ich diese tolle Maske bei eBay ersteigert. Ich werde sie für das Selbstportrait, das ich schießen muss, verwenden. Ein wenig Extravaganz muss schließlich sein.
