HCFW09 Christian Lacroix aftershow

Rumors are Christian Lacroix going to end his own brand. From Suzy Menkes' saying, we knew it might be a truth. This season, sadly, the former we let gone of MJ. When Beyonce and Madonna made tributes to MJ, Christian was all heart into his collection.

"~a collection produced on a shoestring at the last minute, and only made possible by the collective will and donated time and skills of the seamstresses, embroiderers, jewelers, milliners, and shoemakers loyal to Christian Lacroix.~"(from style.com review)

I'd rather believe it's because he can't get enough donation. Times changed. He is the last one of the 70s brilliant designers in the world. His complex colouring truely brings something exotic, royal, and enduring to us. He is always there, though his collection not always the hits. Only him could creat that kind of style and keep conquerung himself, like colouring pieces to Pucci, edgy black humor to Maison Martin Margiela. There is no one could compare to him, even no rising star exsist.

He's been so longly many years. I'm not sure if it would be something good to him, diffenitely not in retiring. I really hope he would be back quite soon, like Jill Sander. All my appreciation to you in doing haute couture.

Thank you for your genius work to this world , Monsiuer Lacroix.
