the whole fw 09 shows arrounded with the glamour of 80s and the simplistyof 90s.
Finantial crisis caused the 80s' happiness, which is a litle bit lack of , un, wealth.
We could easily found how Mar Jacobs ambitious about what he've done theis season.
It seems he's doin it huge. Well, i think the colour was nice , but the whole shape was out of control.
The shoulders were all ugly, women don't even look good in any piece.
another brand got this problem is Dloce & Gabbana, the fur was all nice, materials were all fasinating as usual. But what the heck was the cutting? Balmain does a great job in the shoulder cutting because Christophe didn't overstate the cutting, the shoulders still kept the graceful shape, not make people who wear them look heavy. Louis Vuitton and Dolce &Gabbana lost in this way.
The new A. Wang's urban style got lots of laughs. but i don't think the swim trunks are that bad. They really make people look shorter in those trunks. But i think it's a new item could be hotter than skinny jeans. Maybe not, but i do thin it fresh. And really, i love how he made the coat cutting.
It's really urban, sexy and a little independent. Though i think A.Wang's monotone is really boring, but i do appreciate the spirit he try to portray. It's always correct to me who wears A.wang with a starbucks latte, walking into a gallery. It's so natural.
I wanna talk about the new Emilio Pucci, maybe latter on.
