Mekhi Phifer joins Torchwood

This is kind of a cute news...  Mekhi Phifer joins the sexy cast of Torchwood.
Blastr reports:
The Lie to Me and 8 Mile veteran will join John Barrowman and Eve Myles in trying to defend the Earth and ensnare viewers for the fourth season of the Doctor Who spinoff.
Phifer will play CIA agent Rex Matheson, who's described as "a fast-tracked high flyer with a lethal sense of humor who starts to feel his mortality when his life is put in danger."
No word yet on whether Agent Matheson will be a potential love interest for Jack Harkness, but when you've got a pan-sexual time crusader as the lead, you never know.
This could be interesting, sexy and who knows.

Is Matthew Goode the next Superman?

Rumors are spinning like Diana Prince when she changes into WW about this. Matthew Goode has been linked to the role of Supes.

Digital Spy reports:

Matthew Goode is rumored to be the frontrunner for the lead role in Zack Snyder's Superman reboot.

According to Movie Newz, the Cemetery Junction star is the favorite to portray the Man of Steel in the DC Comics adaptation.

Goode and Snyder have previously worked together on Watchmen, in which the actor played Adrian Veidt and his alter ego Ozymandias.
Not a bad choice, but what do you think?

Casting for Superman starts Now

With Batman and Green Lantern on the way, casting for Superman kicks off.

Deadline reports the hot news
Warner Bros, producer Chris Nolan, and director Zack Snyder have begun to cast a "wide net" to find the next Man of Steel. Insiders tell us the studio is open to creating a star as it reboots the Superman franchise: specifically, that the actor will either be a discovery or on TV but likely someone who isn't well known yet.
And he'll be in the age range of 28-to-32. The studio expects to look at hundreds of young actors before making a decision. Agents who are readying candidates note that hiring an established series regular might not even be possible. The film will likely begin production around next June, and that shooting schedule could wreak havoc with fall prime time schedules.
Their age range is a tad bit older one when Christopher and Brandon were cast... But Brandon still has a chance.
