'Breeze From The East" (Verve, 1963) apresenta latin jazz da melhor qualidade; concebido pelo vibrafonista Cal Tjader ao início da década de 60 em clima absolutamente lounge, o LP mistura elementos latinos, jazz "clássico" e até mesmo (várias) influências orientais. Coisa finíssima. Sinta-se em um filme de James Bond ambientado na cidade de Tóquio!
